I reserved a Twitter account in case it gets big, but it seems really lame. Used as a blogging service: I have a lot of thoughts that would better fit the <120 characters format but the presentation of past entries is so cluttered and ugly. Use as a way to communicate what you're doing right now: I don't know anybody who cares enough about me to want an RSS feed of my bodily functions or to be texted whenever I'm eating turkey, not even my own wife. Do you?
I can't access the site right now so I can't confirm this, but I don't think they have tags. Tags would at least let people filter out only the status updates they care about.
